Bernard De Vos is the General Delegate (Ombudsman) for Children’s Rights of the French Community of Belgium since 2008. He was Chair of ENOC, the European Network of Ombudspersons for Children, in 2013-2014.
Before that, Bernard De Vos was the Director of a special service provided to vulnerable young people in Brussels for more than 15 years. He also initiated the creation of several innovative services in the field of youth protection and assistance. He is the author of several books and articles on childhood and youth issues.
He is graduate as specialized educator and has a master's degree in Islamology.
